Extracellular vesicles
Innovative solution for membrane proteins’ study.
Most eucaryotic cells have the physiological capacity to produce extracellular vesicles. They are made of a lipid bilayer comparable to a cytoplasmic membrane and contain membranes proteins.
NabGen Technology has developped an innovative tool for membrane proteins presentation at the surface of extracellular vesicles.
Thanks to the implementation of an optimised and fast protocol, the platform provides to the project leaders extracellular vesicles decorated with the protein of interest, ready to be used and for mutliple applications.
Membrane proteins are targets of choice for therapeutic research and immunotherapy. The study of their structures and interactions with the ligands such as therapeutic antibodies is a key element in the characterization of new candidates for example.
NabGen Technology offers a tool for membrane proteins presentation at the surface of vesicles.
Eucaryotics cells are transfected with the gene of interest cloned in an expression vector. Vesicles, mesuring from 40 to 100 nm, are purified and analysed to check their decorating rate. They are then conditionned and sent to the project leader.
